The Ride Ahead

The collective vision of civic, law enforcement, community development, and human services leaders, and the result of four years of dedicated work, MKE Urban Stables is a unique 30,000 SQFT facility that will strengthen the community through service, care and healing.

WaterStreet Creative (WSC) was enlisted to help in generating awareness and continued financial support.

The Challenge

The MKE Urban Stables needed to attract media to cover the project in its infancy with few visuals on a cold and overcast day in a mostly muddy field.

The Solution

Weeks before the groundbreaking, WSC worked with MKE Urban Stables’ leadership to develop a PR and event strategy and supporting press materials for the groundbreaking.

The Results

WSC generated more than 1.2 million impressions, $30,000 in earned media coverage, and community goodwill for the MKE Urban Stables groundbreaking ceremony. Earned media included coverage on all local television stations and major print and online publications. WSC was honored to play a role in this amazing project that will have a lasting impact on our community for years to come.
